The unreliable APA

The unreliable APA

A conservative attorney disagrees with the findings of "Private Lives 2," a study of Australian homosexuals that suggests discrimination, not lifestyle, is the reason why homosexuals seek psychological counseling -- a conclusion similar to that reached by the American Psychological Association.

The online study was conducted by Malbourne's La Trobe University with the support of Gay and Lesbian Health Victoria, as well as the Victoria state government and the Australian national depression initiative. But Matt Barber, vice president of Liberty Counsel Action, tells OneNewsNow other research has repeatedly concluded that it is the lifestyle -- not discrimination or lack of societal "acceptance" -- that results in homosexuals seeking counseling.

TONY DIGIROLAMO- READ ON BECAUSE WE'VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS: "So for the APA to help them rationalize these behaviors, it's really irresponsible of the American Psychological Association to do this," the attorney submits.

Amen! More of you are talking like Culture Shock these days.

False Conversions Are the Suicide of the Church, Pastor Warns

False Conversions Are the Suicide of the Church, Pastor Warns

False conversions are a serious problem that could lead not only to the "suicide of the church" but also to the defaming of God's name, an evangelical pastor warned.

Mark Dever, senior pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., told some 8,000 ministers Tuesday at the Together for the Gospel conference... They must be holy – not conceding to worldliness; there must be self-sacrifice and denying of oneself; and they must evidence love.

"If you want to get a lot of fake Christians in your church, just tell them that there is this free gift that entails no self-sacrifice and trouble"...

TONY DIGIROLAMO- LOOK AT THAT PEOPLE: "They must be holy – not conceding to worldliness; there must be self-sacrifice and denying of oneself..." AAAAND THE CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGISTS DON'T GO THERE WHEN COUNSELING... Noooo!

No, the self esteem and self love is what they teach. And the Bible teaches don't think too highly of yourself.

I believe this teaching is false and it is the great hindrance to the church going forward in Truth.
Yes, there are a lot of false conversions out there especially if a pastor clinges to the doctrine laid out in those self help books and Christian Psychotherapy centers nationwide... Annnd don't forget the mind altering drugs and antidepressants they push which robs your Spirit of its fruit!

Gov. Brewer signs Arizona bill with 20-week abortion ban

Gov. Jan Brewer on Thursday signed legislation making Arizona the latest state that generally bans abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

The Republican-sponsored legislation also institutes new disclosure mandates that include requiring the state have a website with images of fetuses at various stages of development for women to view.

TONY DIGIROLAMO- CONSERVATIVE WOMEN MAKING RIGHT CHOICES AND DECISIONS. STAND UP GOVERNOR BREWER AND TAKE A BOW.

Seeking righteousness in this news cycle is timing appropriate!

God bless Arizona!

Did Obama Pay a Lower Rate Than His Secretary?

Did Obama Pay a Lower Rate Than His Secretary?

President Obama paid a total federal tax rate in 2011 on adjusted income of $789,674 that may be lower than that of his secretary, even though she earned substantially less.

Obama has spent the past week touting the Buffett Rule, which calls on those who make $1 million – just a little more than Obama made – to pay at federal tax rate of at least 30 percent. The rule was inspired by Buffett’s comment that he paid a lower tax rate than his secretary.

TONY DIGIROLAMO- AAAAAND? HEY JOE BIDEN GAVE 1.5% TO CHARITY! THIS IS WHY THEY WANT THE REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH ... BECAUSE THEY SQUEAK WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR OWN LACK OF BENEVOLENCE.

UGLY ATTACKS ON CONSERVATIVE WOMEN LIKE ANN ROMNEY ARE ALL TOO COMMON

UGLY ATTACKS ON CONSERVATIVE WOMEN LIKE ANN ROMNEY ARE ALL TOO COMMON

By S E Cupp

The hit-and-run job that Hillary Rosen did on Ann Romney is, unfortunately, all too common. Sexism and misogyny aren’t just for the boys, and it‘s even more lamentable and ugly when they’re perpetrated by another woman. It’s the woman-on-woman crime that no one talks about.

There’s a sense amongst liberals — who read identity politics into most everything — that conservative women are somehow traitors to their gender (much the same way that black conservatives are traitors to their race and young conservatives are traitors to their generation). To be a conservative woman in the 21st century is to be, as Ann Romney found out, ripe for scorn and ridicule by the demonstrably intolerant left.

TONY DIGIROLAMO- WELL SAID WOMAN!

The end of antidepressants? Controversial studies may have an impact

The end of antidepressants? Controversial studies may have an impact

Watchers of a February broadcast of “60 Minutes” may have been stunned to learn that studies have been conducted that seem to prove that antidepressants, on the whole, are no more effective than placebo.

This revelation about antidepressants – among the top-selling and top-prescribed drugs in the United States – may have been new news to some, but the studies conducted by Irving Kirsch, PhD, and colleagues, have been raising eyebrows and garnering attention since 1998. Which begs the question, have Kirsch’s studies had any impact on the sales of antidepressants and/or on the prescribing patterns of doctors?

TONY DIGIROLAMO- THE STORIES ON ANTIDEPRESSANTS ARE OUT THERE ALL ACROSS AMERICA... LOCAL TV NEWS, NEWSPAPERS BUT THE MAINSTREAMMEDIA IS SO QUIET OUT THERE ALL YOU HEAR ARE THE CRICKETS.
Meanwhile people are dying and American behavior gets more bizarre with each passing day.

Could Your Antidepressant Do More Harm Than Good?

Could Your Antidepressant Do More Harm Than Good?

Depression can strike at any time, and there’s a good chance it could affect you or someone you love. Statistics show that ten percent of U.S. adults will develop depressive symptoms, which can include sleeping disorders, mood swings and suicidal thoughts. Even children are susceptible, with one in 33 suffering clinical depression.

Doctors often prescribe antidepressants known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) to their patients who show signs of depression. However, SSRIs have come under fire recently for having potentially serious side effects.

TONY DIGIROLAMO- I CAN'T WARN YOU ENOUGH ABOUT THE DANGERS OF ANTIDEPRESSANTS. THE MEDIA WON'T TELL YOU SO HERE WE GO AGAIN.
