A 'war on women'? Yes! By Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood has revealed its true colors again, and they are not pink and white.

Last week, Planned Parenthood leaders lost their senses in response to the 40 Days for Life peaceful prayer vigils held in front of hundreds of abortion facilities all across America and the world. The abortion giant launched a "prayer" campaign for abortion and glamorized their work as "sacred."

So last week Planned Parenthood launched its own "prayer" campaign. To what or to whom its leaders were "praying" is a mystery, because the God of the Bible will never respond to their thirst for the shedding of innocent blood.

Lawyers Challenge Unconstitutional Policies at 160 Schools

With culture wars intensifying on university campuses across the nation, legal activists are doing more than defending—they are taking a proactive approach to defending First Amendment rights.

The Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) on Thursday launched a new legal effort to change unconstitutional policies at more than 160 public universities and colleges by sending a first round of 40 letters to schools in 23 states. All of the schools have policies that violate the rights of students protected by the First Amendment.

No change expected on UMC policy re: homosexuality

As the United Methodist General Conference continues in Tampa, denomination officials are coming down to the wire on whether they will make changes to church policy regarding homosexuality.

For more than a decade, homosexual activist groups have targeted Episcopalians, The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and the United Methodist Church for acceptance. Pastor Stephen Sparks of the First United Methodist Church in Indianola, Mississippi, is at the UMC's General conference and says those groups have put a lot of money into the effort.

Hundreds of Soldiers & Vets Dying From Antipsychotic--Seroquel

Fred A. Baughman Jr., MD & Stan White (Father of Deceased Veteran, Andrew White) disclose the following: As a neurologist who has discovered and described medical diseases, I (FAB) read the May 24, 2008, Charleston (WV) Gazette article "Vets taking Post Traumatic Stress Disorder drugs die in sleep," and opened and financed my own investigation into these unexplained deaths.

Andrew White, Eric Layne, Nicholas Endicott and Derek Johnson, all in their twenties, were four West Virginia veterans who died in their sleep in early 2008. There were no signs of suicide or of a multi-drug "overdose" leading to coma, as claimed by the Inspector General of the VA. All had been diagnosed "PTSD"—a psychological diagnosis, not a disease (physical abnormality) of the brain. All were on the same prescribed drug cocktail, Seroquel (antipsychotic), Paxil (antidepressant) and Klonopin (benzodiazepine) and all appeared "normal" when they went to sleep.

CNN Grudgingly Concludes on Maddow-Castellanos Debate: Men Make 'About 5 Cents' More Than Women

As NewsBusters reported Sunday, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow and Republican strategist Alex Castellanos got into quite a heated debate about the gender wage gap on NBC's Meet the Press.

CNN's Situation Room decided to find out who was right about this controversial issue Monday, and despite going to great lengths to side with Maddow, correspondent Lisa Sylvester grudgingly admitted at the very end of the segment, "It's about 5 cents of a difference, but it still is there, it's still real, and the truth is, men make more than women" VIDEO

Lawmakers Back Christian Students at Vanderbilt

Tennessee lawmakers are now backing Christian student groups at Vanderbilt University.

On Monday, the Statehouse and Senate approved a bill that would rescind the school's controversial "all-comers policy." It requires student clubs to allow anyone to run for a leadership position, regardless of their beliefs.

The bill counters that, saying "a religious student organization may determine that the organization's religious mission requires that only persons professing the faith of the group...qualify to serve as members or leaders."

National Day of Reason Set to Compete With 2012 Day of Prayer

Two groups that represent a large percentage of atheists, the American Humanist Association and the Secular Coalition of America, are joining forces to combat the National Day of Prayer by promoting the National Day of Reason, which is held on the first Thursday of May each year.

Rep. Pete Stark, a California Democrat, has sponsored a proclamation on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives for the second year in a row giving his support to the cause and as an alternative for atheist Americans to celebrate "reason," as opposed to prayer. Stark's proclamation reads in part:
