The 55th Annual Grammy Awards aired on Sunday, providing viewers with a lens into performances and acceptance speeches from the world’s most popular musical acts. While mainstream artists were in attendance and given prime attention during the show, Christian, gospel, jazz and other “alternative” performers weren’t, as they are not typically included in the main program.

Instead, a separate pre-telecast was held and the awards given to these acts’ were announced during it (this pre-event was broadcast live on the Grammy web site). But, in case you missed the faith-based acts who walked away with accolades...

Love Christian Artists and the message of the Gospel, but it's harder to do that in this now secular culture. We have been marginalized and no longer the influence of the age. That ended when we no longer were the salt of the Earth and light of the world! We're still numb from it all, even impotent. I know God is able but waiting for His Church to wake up from an endless dream of entertainment and materialism.

Christian Colleges Score Victory against HHS Mandate

In a major victory Tuesday, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of Wheaton College and Belmont Abbey College, saying they can challenge the Obama administration's contraception coverage mandate.

So far, more than 40 cases have now been filed against that Health and Human Services mandate that forces employers to cover abortion-causing contraceptives in their health plans, even if they have serious religious objections.

The current hate campaign being waged by homosexual activists against fast-food chain Chick-fil-A, because of the firm's Christian values, may well turn out to be a bridge too far. The effort may prove to be a setback for homosexual activism.

The vile attacks on the firm and its owners, the Cathy family, should make clear, finally, that the "gay rights" movement is not about refining and advancing American freedom, but about rewriting American values and advancing, not freedom, but the homosexual political agenda.
