The entire Christian calendar is based on a miscalculation, the Pope has declared, as he claims in a new book that Jesus was born several years earlier than commonly believed

The idea that Christ was born on Dec 25 also has no basis in historical fact. "We don't even know which season he was born in. The whole idea of celebrating his birth during the darkest part of the year is probably linked to pagan traditions and the winter solstice."

In an interview with Lisa Ling, Exodus International President Alan Chambers reiterated his beliefs that gay Christians can go to heaven. Chambers also commented on the need for churches to change their approach to homosexuals.

"Do I think there are people living a gay Christian life who are going to be in heaven with me?" he posed on a Tuesday episode of "Our America With Lisa Ling." "I do; if they have a relationship with God."

"Chambers also commented on the need for churches to change their approach to homosexuals." There are churches doing that and they are the ones that are dying! They are ones ordaining homosexual pastors and priests. Some are bishops... Mainline denominations are taking up this heresy.
