We are now more accepting the things that were once considered sinful and once considered immoral.
We have a president that agrees with much of these things and when he goes to church, it is one that agrees with homosexual rights and believes that they should marry one of the same sex. They also believe in some cases a woman's right to choose an abortion. This hardly resembles the church Jesus said He would build.
We are now a nation in a Post Christian Era in America no matter what it is says about God on its money.
As for those Christians who voted for the likes of these I blame them more than the "Nones" in the dark path that America is on.

President Barack Obama owes conservative Steven Crowder--and the nation--an apology after union thugs, angered by right-to-work laws passed by the Michigan legislature today, assaulted Crowder several times in the capital city of Lansing, causing mild injuries. One also threatened to shoot Crowder (see video).

OBAMA'S UNPRECEDENTED COLLAPSE AMONG CATHOLIC VOTERS PUTS MIDWEST IN PLAY
Yesterday, the Romney campaign told reporters that it expected to win at least some of the “blue states” in which it is now competing with Obama in the Midwest, including Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. The campaign did not give a specific reason for its optimism, but one thing these states have in common is a high proportion of Catholic voters. And Catholic voters have shifted dramatically towards Mitt Romney.

In September, the left and the media were exultant when the Pew poll seemed to show a surge for Obama among Catholic voters. He led by fifteen points, 54-39.
Today, that bubble has burst completely, and Obama is back down to a two-point lead, 48-46. (Few headlines this time from the mainstream media.)

My pal Guy Benson found a juicy nugget that helps to bring more clarity to the news from Gallup yesterday that shows Romney leading Obama in the early vote by a full seven points, 52-45%. Almost exactly four years ago (October 28, 2008), according to Gallup, Obama was massacring John McCain among early voters with a fifteen-point lead, 55-40%. That means, at least according to Gallup, that Obama's early vote advantage has dropped 22 points when compared to '08.

Dem. Platform Now at Odds With Obama's Israel Policy
An Obama campaign official confirmed to THE WEEKLY STANDARD that President Obama “personally” intervened to alter the Democratic platform to include a reference to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The new platform, adopted this evening at the Democratic convention in Charlotte, now includes pro-Israel language that the previous document did not.
“The president did want to make clear what his personal beliefs were because they were not in the original platform,” the campaign official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

What they did in the orignal statement on the capital is what they have in their hearts. What Obama has in his heart. That was no mistake.
