Bill Bennett suggested on his radio show this morning that the Romney-Ryan campaign (or someone else) cut an ad to make famous these remarks (delivered a year ago at the University of North Carolina) about Paul Ryan by Clinton White House chief of staff Erskine Bowles...

On a special broadcast of MSNBC’s “Hardball” on Saturday, weekend morning host Melissa Harris-Perry expressed her displeasure with the selection of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as Mitt Romney’s running mate.

In particular, Harris-Perry took issue with Ryan quoting Thomas Jefferson’s line in the Declaration of Independence, in which he declared rights come from God and nature and not from government.

At least two parents in West Knoxville, Tennessee, are up in arms over an “inappropriate” reading assignment that was given to high school students at Hardin Valley Academy over the summer. The book at the center of the debate, “Robopocalypse,” written by Daniel H. Wilson, is said to be, at times, both profane and violent.

“I don’t want to comment specifically on the profanity, but we do consider the maturity of students to be able to understand, and whether the text is appropriate for the grade level and age group,” she continued...“We discussed adult-level language, and decided that most (not all) students of this age group are exposed to profanity through much more graphic means than the written text…,”

AFTER TEACHING THE CURRICULUM "DEATH EDUCATION" IN THE GOVERNMENT  SCHOOLS I'M NOT SURPRISED THAT THEY DON'T THINK THIS IS A DANGEROUS FOR THE KIDS.
It's not just the profanity but the violence as well that should have red flags rising!
They have desensitized our children to these things that draw them closer to humanistic secular world view.
Death Education had been taught for some 12 years at Columbine High School before the massacre in 1999. And, the tragic consequence of that horrific event gives new meaning to "Outcome Based"curriculum and "Values Clarification".
Psychologist William R Coulson, now retired, said this, on the ABC 20/20 program titled, "Death in the Classroom": 
"What makes us think that American education is going to do a good job teaching Death Education. We ought to be trembling about the fact that the schools which failed to teach academics are now presuming to teach on matters of Life And Death."
“Robopocalypse”, is this what public schools are offering to peak students interest in math and science?

House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa plans to sue Attorney General Eric Holder on Monday for refusing to provide documents related to the "Fast and Furious" gun-smuggling operation.

"The committee expects to file the civil contempt suit against the attorney general Monday," a Republican source said. The suit will be filed in the federal district court for the District of Columbia.

Making sure that they follow Judeo-Christian guideposts for life and for living. No to Abortion, no to immorality... no to anyone on that side of history. The founding fathers gave us a republic form of government of the people, by the people, and for the people and those people must be a religious and moral people... Love your neighbor kind of people.

Those who seek a secular nation and seek to hide all things Christian are creating a nation that will find it hard to find God, thus, the reason for the rise to Atheism and all things failing, falling and dying.

Yes, America is in trouble!

I believe the time is now to be responsible for what we leave behind for the next generation and beyond. My children and their children are going to know that I was fighting with all my strength and all my heart for them.

It's all about God and the blessings of this country. It is not about a president, senator or dog catcher it's all about Him and the most gracious, benevolent, selfless nation on Earth and it's is because of Him and those who serve Him that this is an exceptional place to live.
