The Election: This has been a very strange night in America

The Election: This has been a very strange night in America

By Tony DiGirolamo

On election night I said, This has been a very strange night in America. Can't quite put my finger on it but it doesn't feel like God is in it.

Am I alone here? I guess I'm not alone.

I too feel the pain of our nation slipping away from us and last night this country took a giant step away from God and His principles. We will suffer for that decision. All of us.

We need to look at the church and how it has failed to preach all of God's Word for fear of Government intervention of their tax exemption. We've allowed for men and women to be elected to office and freed them to change the laws even going against the faith and religious affiliation they profess. And pulpits were silent.
Pastor Anne Gimenez has taken the bold and courageous step to change that, preaching on "Freedom". While my country is making horrific choices I feel closer to God today, more today than yesterday. I will do all I can to encourage my pastor, Pastor Anne, TD Jakes, Joel Osteen, and all those who preach the Word of God and to do it in the total freedom that was given them by our Founding Fathers.
After failing in 32 states last night Maine changed all that by a Yes Vote for Same Sex Marriage. We saw a Democrat party that took the name of God out of the platform and they hurriedly raced to get His name back in. But before they did God was dissed and booed.
Those were the people I saw on election night celebrating the victory of a man that has no core Christian belief. Like the Ted Kennedy's and Joe Bidens we have allowed them to take positions against the faith we most commonly share.
Life in the womb is less protected then the egg of an endangered bird or turtle. Those Democrats who are environmentalists believe in Mother Earth more than God the Father. They wouldn't harm a fly but would let a baby die as late as the latest moment of the ninth month.
We have a president we just elected a second time to the highest office of the free world because women feel he most understands her need to do such a deplorable thing.
We are truly in a post Christian America now, I surely don't recognize it any longer. My Christian views are alien to this culture. I am seen by the homosexual community as a clear and present danger to their agenda.
However, my faith is strong, I waiver not in the midst of all this godless euphoric jubilation.
I'll work on the things that remain and seek the remnant of the traditions deeply rooted in God.
I have grandchildren and I want for them to have the country I proudly grew up in.
We the people, we are the government and we the people will get it back!
Rush Limbaugh said, "I went to bed last night thinking we're outnumbered.  I went to bed last night thinking all this discussion we'd had about this election being the election that will tell us whether or not we've lost the country.  I went to bed last night thinking we've lost the country.  I don't know how else you look at this."
I went to bed thinking, This has been a very strange night in America. Can't quite put my finger on it but it doesn't feel like God is in it.
I keep thinking of the Paul Simon song, American Tune, "He dreamed he was dying", and said, "My eyes could clearly see the Statue of Liberty sailing away to sea..." words quite graphic.
Is freedom sailing away to sea? Is it slipping away from us? Only if the pulpits revisit the "sounds of silence" on God's Word.
Last night was a strange night in America indeed.

BREAKING AWAY FROM ELCA AND SOCIAL POLICIES

TONY DIGIROLAMO- After many years of struggle the members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, ELCA, are forming a new church, the North American Lutheran Church.

Breaking away from the policies followed by a culture driven doctrine, the new church will be consummated at the end of August.

Word Alone for the past ten years tried to change the minds of the presiding Bishop, Hanson and the leadership only to find walls of hindrance to their cry to return to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This from President, Jaynan Clark:
Excerpts from an Email
to ELCA Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson
from Jaynan Clark, President, WordAlone Ministries

Full story at CultureShockTV.com:

"There are those of you who have ears to hear the Truth of God’s Word, eyes to see His creation through a Biblical worldview and a conscience truly captive to His Word not the sinful self. You, like a growing number of other Christians-some of them Lutheran-know what it means to be in this world but not of it. More than ever before, you don’t seem to 'fit.' The post-modern understanding that there is no absolute truth outside of the self is not understandable to you. You struggle with yourself wondering if it is just you that thinks things have radically changed and not for the better. You may be among those who don’t recognize the message of your 'church' as anything like what you grew up with. You don’t understand what happened to the basic fabric of society that seemed to be common sense and good order. You don’t have any trust in your leaders in church and society. You wonder why nobody says or does anything to push the proverbial pendulum back at least for the sake of the children who must navigate themselves through all this relativity, plurality and uncertainty. To even note your concern out loud would make you some sort of negative, judgmental, fundamentalist, fanatic fuddy-duddy. You would be labeled a sexist, racist, hate filled, homophobic, name calling 'Pharisee' or worse. You are left wondering why you, the one being called the names, the one being judged, the one being put down are accused of what you are experiencing at the hands of the loving, tolerant, accepting, non-judgmental Christians. The irony of the repeated experience confirms that you are out of sync. "

Pastor and President Clark continues,
"[I] have patiently prayed for you and others in the ELCA to come to terms with what you are doing to old pastors, young seminarians, local churches, faithful preachers and international leaders. The confusion and chaos that has resulted is your doing. However, you continue to try to point fingers at others for being the “schismatics” (myself included) while you ignore the words of the Scriptures that remind us that confusion comes from those who preach "another gospel" though there is not another gospel." (Galatians 2).

I recently met with Pastor Richard E. Boye, 81 and retired, in Farmville, Virginia to discuss the ELCA's policy on Homosexuality as pastors.

His testimony on video, is heartfelt and passionate about the direction of the church. He was told that members of the church are punishing the ELCA but he said "that is the farthest thing on his mind ... I love my church but I can not support the ELCA."

There is so much more to the failure of the ELCA with homosexuality, pro choice, and so called social justice. It is roundly taking the side of a culture gone to the extreme left. Even at the expence of the state of Israel in support of terrorists.

They follow the National and World Council of Churches the ideolgy of which is socialist.

Clark warns,
"... [W]e all should be concerned that those leading vibrant, growing Lutheran churches across the globe are in danger of being indoctrinated by those bearing a false gospel."

Unfortunately that continues as many are making a bold decision to leave the ELCA. Many of these are believers in the Word of God and stand firm and unwavering.

This is a challenge to those who need the courage of Martin Luther, founder of this church and the Protestant Reformation to see as clearly as he did the error in the present age.

It is not just an ELCA problem It has infected all mainline denominations and the culture of this world.

You know this issue is so important to me for the church to return to the Truth. There are millions of people indoctrinated into the culture of the world that the decisions they make for themselves, their family, and who they want as leaders, local and nationwide is determined by what they believe.

If the church is on this course to change the meaning of the Bible, then I'm afraid the Republic will not stand.

John Adams said, “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion."
... "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

So, that being said we have a work greater than ourselves to do, a work that is more than just changing the church we go to each Sunday. It's about the Gospel, America and Freedom that is threatened.

So enter the battle, make the changes that must come, step out of the comfort zone, and then you will be standing before God in all His majesty.

God bless America!

Sheriff Lee After the Storm: Lets's Go to the Video Tape

Which brings us to this. Direct from Jindal’s office, it’s archive video of none other than Sheriff Harry Lee (who passed away two years ago) endorsing Jindal for governor. Why? Because he was so helpful and hands-on in using his congressional authority to assist the recovery effort after Katrina, which included … a personal visit to Lee’s office “the day after” the storm. Nuance. I’ll let Jim Treacher take it from there.

******* *** *******

CSTV- TONY DIGIROLAMO- THEY ARE LIARS MSNBCERS AND THE REST. THEY HAVE VIDEO ARCHIVES UP TO THEIR THROATS. THEY JUST LOVE DOING THIS TO CONSERVATIVES.

HEY RACHAEL MADASACOW "AHH BAHHH A AHH I AHH WHA WHA WHAT?! JINDAL WAS THERE ... HE DID HELP THE SHERIFF ... AH BUT AHH BBBBUT I AHH..."

O'lberman "oh god" ... the Katrina story was tr... tr..true?!

They keep digging the hole folks ... You think that the executives at NBC would put an end to the three stooges ... wait... that's an insult to those guys. they acted stupid ... Matthews, Olby and Madasacow are stupid.

Sorry people this story has my eyes bleeding!

I began to realize what these liberals are trying to do ... and that is to destroy the reputation of one great success story in Bobby Jindal.

Take a look at this Blog from Megan McArdle, The Atlantic, Jindalmania: Jindal and the legislature passed anti-corruption laws that in a surprising turn of events actually seem to have done something about corruption--suddenly the state is getting the best scores in the country. They pushed through disclosure rules for all government officials--state and local, appointed and elected. He got a law passed that forbid legislators from doing business with the state. And he took on a tax and regulatory structure that had been built around the notion that companies couldn't go anywhere, and could hence be bled dry.

There scared to death folks that's why Rachel Maddow was speachless.

This guy's coming to Washington soon and they know it.
