Barack Obama Emulates Teddy Roosevelt Running From Himself

Barack Obama Emulates Teddy Roosevelt Running From Himself

BY TONY DIGIROLAMO

I'm tired of hearing about this POTUS and the comparisons to other presidents past. There is a reason for this.

Obama has been compared to Abraham Lincoln by many on the left like the Daily Beast's Evan Thomas in 2008 said, "It is the season to compare Barack Obama to Abraham Lincoln. Two thin men from rude beginnings, relatively new to Washington but wise to the world, bring the nation together to face a crisis... Obama does have a talented young speech writer named Jon Favreau, and on the day before the election, Favreau worked up a draft of a victory speech and sent it to Obama. The word came back from Obama's chief strategist, David Axelrod, who was sitting with Obama in Charlotte, N.C.: "Barack wants to lean into bipartisanship a little more. Even though the Democrats have won a great victory, we should reach out and be humbled by it. Figure out a good Lincoln quote to bring it all together," advised Axelrod, who suggested looking at the end of Lincoln's first Inaugural Address."

A speech, a teleprompter, and the next admiration for presidents past was, Franklin D. Roosevelt in Politico, Carol E Lee in 09, After being introduced at the DNC fundraiser at the Beverly Hills Hilton by famed producer Jeffrey Katzenberg, President Barack Obama compared himself to FDR.

"I would put these first four months up against any prior administration since FDR," Obama said. "We didn't ask for the challenges that we face, but we don't shrink from them either."

How's that for a humbling narcissist giant of a man.

That brings us to the next chapter of Barack Obama, the art of being someone else. He can't be himself because he'd have to run on his own failed record. Not gonna happen.

If he and his progressive friends loved ObamCare so much, they would be in a full court press on it. Now that we know what's in it ... It's a bomb a nuke!

He's running away from himself, the One.

But wait, his signature accomplishment ObamaCare is in the wings to begin... Yeah, begin in the Supreme Court.

When that decision comes, and it has to be 5-4, that the legislation is "Unconstitutional", then the reality of the first 2 years in the fight for it will set in.

Lots of screaming in closets across the land.

Now, I just saw a report on Fox News and Barack Obama is traveling to the midwest to emulate another past president he admires, Teddy Roosevelt. Of course president Teddy was at the vanguard of the progressive movement in 1912. Ahh love.

This presidents disapproval numbers now have gone below Jimmy Carters.

Let me ask Evan Thomas of the Daily Beast, since this president is so great, do you think that future presidents would ever desire to follow a President Barack Obama?

It will probably be a model for "How Not To Run the Presidency for Dummies"
