ABC's 'What Would You Do?' Attacks Michael Savage on...Autism?

ABC's Primetime:What Would You Do? strangely attacked conservative talk radio host Michael Savage on Friday for autism views he expressed almost four years ago.

The following was injected into an eight minute segment dealing with how people respond in a public setting when an autistic child acts up (video follows with transcript and commentary)

TONY DIGIROLAMO- MICHAEL SAVAGE IS RIGHT IT IS OVER DIAGNOSED OR RATHER GUESSAGNOSED.

And it has caused a firestorm in the Psychology "Pscience" industry.
Daily Beast: A New Definition of Autism Could Exclude Many Now Diagnosed, Expert Says
 Jan 20, 2012 4:45 AM EST

When an expert on autism argued that a new definition of the disorder being prepared by the American Psychiatric Association could restrict the number of patients currently diagnosed as autistic, he set off a firestorm of criticism and debate.
This from the Womens Media Center: ...Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, or DSM-5, is being prepared for release in 2013, clinicians formerly involved in its preparation are calling for major reform of the text that has driven psychiatric diagnosis and treatment for decades.  Many of them will participate in “Boycott Normal,” a demonstration planned for May 5, when the American Psychiatric Association (APA) meets in Philadelphia and is likely to vote to go forward and publish the DSM-5.
VOTE?! The American people should be outraged about this so called science, just as Michael Savage is. However, I think he went over the top a bit to make a point
