THE CHURCH TILLMAN ATTENDED ON THE LEFT AND PRO CHOICE

BY TONY DIGIROLAMO- THE REFORMATION LUTHERAN CHURCH WAS A PLACE THAT HE CAN GO AND JUSTIFY HIS LIFE'S WORK, HIS SIN.
I DON'T ADVOCATE VIOLENCE BUT IMAGINE THE VIOLENCE THAT A BABY RECEIVES AS IT ENTERS THE WORLD AND THE HANDS AND THE COLD INSTRUMENTS OF DR TILLMAN.

I thought it to be important for you to see that the doctor had support from his church which is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America ... deeply leftist on the social issues facing our country.

ABORTION: Our Unity and Diversity in Christ
ELCA STATEMENT: In reflecting ethically on what should be done in the case of an unintended pregnancy, consideration should be given to the status and condition of the life in the womb. We also need to consider the conditions under which the pregnancy occurred and the implications of the pregnancy for the woman's life... An abortion is morally responsible in those cases in which continuation of a pregnancy presents a clear threat to the physical life of the woman.

THE ELCA CONTINUES:
Induced abortion, the act of intentionally terminating a developing life in the womb, is one of the issues about which members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America have serious differences. These differences are also found within society.

Regardless of the decisions, our pastoral response must be a gracious affirmation of the value of women's lives and assistance in dealing with ongoing implications of their decisions for their own well-being and their relationships.

There are circumstances of extreme fetal abnormality, which will result in severe suffering and very early death of an infant. In such cases, after competent medical consultations, the parent(s) may responsibly choose to terminate the pregnancy. Whether they choose to continue or to end such pregnancies, this church supports the parent(s) with compassion, recognizing the struggle involved in the decision.

Prevention of Unintended Pregnancies
Prevention of unintended pregnancies is crucial in lessening the number of abortions. In addition to efforts within church and home, this church supports appropriate forms of sex education in schools, community pregnancy prevention programs, and parenting preparation classes. We recognize the need for contraceptives to be available, for voluntary sterilization to be considered, and for research and development of new forms of contraception.

I was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America I got saved at a time when the church began to change. Left ELCA,to join the Presbyterian Church in America and the same thing went on there left that too.

This has happened to the Episcopal church as well it goes on and on.

The excerpts of ELCA statement above isn't church it's social engineering.

Can anyone present this to Jesus with a straight face seeking his approval. I don't think so.

This is the confusion that our young people are witnessing and we know the results of these churches ... they are blind guides.

  1. In this article the Presbyterian Church in America is named. This Presbyterian denommination is very pro-life. The writer probably was in a Presbyterian Church (USA) which is similar to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)in its views on abortion.

  2. RICHARD- You are right I was a member of the Presbyterian Church USA, PCUSA, and many left that church when it into social engineering. PCUSA split to what is now Presbyterian Church in America and other Presbyterian churches formed as well to be more in tune with the Bible.
This is what I meant about confusion in my close.

This is very difficult to watch and it is a great tragedy of Christianity in America.
Richard thank you for your comment.

  3. RICHARD- SOME CORRECTION- When I said I joined the Presbyterian Church in America after leaving the ELCA... That was the only Presyterian church in the country and it was PCUSA.
See how confusing this gets. What is the world supposed to think. How on Earth will we ever change this nation if we look like the Keystone cops on the meaning of the bible.
