THE RINO-DEMOCRAT BIG TENT FOLLY!

BY TONY DIGIROLAMO- I MUST SAY I ONCE ADMIRED THIS MAN BUT HE IS A REPUBLICAN IN NAME ONLY AND WORSE THAN THAT HE IS A CHRISTIAN IN NAME ONLY.
WASHINGTON TIMES- Colin Powell says he's still a Republican: He said if the party doesn't expand its 'very very narrow base' that it will 'watch the world go by.'

"Expand its very narrow base" Do like the Democrats ... Is that what we're supposed to do?

Abortion rights, homosexulaity and same-sex marriage and trans gender big tent?

I don't think so general. As a matter of fact you have disgraced yourself and lost a distinguished and honorable career ... in my view.

Also, this "very very narrow base" you describe with disdain is what Jesus told us about the world. The way is narrow, narrow general, through His gate.

The way is wide, wide is the way of the world, many Democrats, many Republicans, many Christians in name only too.

Another great general and president would never take the path you've chosen. No, General George Washington would stand tall in line with those very very narrow believing Americans.

With the efforts and the way of this world much has changed and changing yet and General Powell sir look to Washington not to the Kennedys, and Barney Frank in America.

This from ChistianAnswers.com:

'While encamped on the banks of a river, Washington was approached by Delaware Indian chiefs who desired that their youth be trained in American schools. In Washington's response, he first told them that "Congress... will look on them as on their own children." [4] That is, we would train their children as if they were our own. He then commended the chiefs for their decision:

"You do well to wish to learn our arts and our ways of life and above all, the religion of Jesus Christ. These will make you a greater and happier people than you are. Congress will do everything they can to assist you in this wise intention." [4]

According to George Washington, what students would learn in American schools "above all" was "the religion of Jesus Christ.'

General Powell...That is what is missing in our government schools today ... Secularism is being taught today that is indeed where the the progressives and liberals seek to take our children the next generation.

If you believe that is what Republicans need to do we will fail ... Sir.
