Seroquel or Suicide? Parents of Dead Soldiers Say US Military Needs to Come Clean

Seroquel or Suicide? Parents of Dead Soldiers Say US Military Needs to Come Clean

“If you know the one thing that causes people to commit suicide, please let us know because we don’t know” – General Peter Chiarelli

In the aftermath of Vietnam War, 150,000 veterans from that war committed suicide, meaning more soldiers died after the war than from the actual war itself, say experts. In 2010, more enlisted US soldiers committed suicide (468) than died in combat (462), as reported by mainstream media watchdog Project Censored, which has designated military suicides as the media’s top-censored story for 2010 and 2011. In November, the VA said 18 veterans a day are taking their own life.

TONY DIGIROLAMO- GENERAL CHIARELLI, YOU DON'T KNOW THE ONE THING THAT CAUSES PEOPLE TO COMMIT SUICIDE? THAT IS A FLAT OUT LIE.

John Roberts reported on Fox News Special Report tonight on the increased level of suicides in United States Marines. Something was missing in his piece. CULTURESHOCKTV.COM READ STORY
You cannot let a story like this go by and not ask these questions...

On February 24, 2010, the Veterans Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, Chaired by Rep. Bob Filner (D-San Diego) held hearings entitled "Exploring the Relationship Between Medication and Veteran Suicide."
Chairman Filner asked Dr. Peter Breggin to lead off with testimony about "Anti-depressant-induced Suicide, Violence, and Mania: Implications for the Military."

Recently, concern has been expressed about the increased prescription of psychi atric medications, especially antidepressants, to military personnel (Lorge, 2008; Thompson, 2008). In presentations at military conferences on combat stress (Breggin, 2009, 2010a) and in testimony before the U.S. House of Representatives Veter ans Affairs Committee (Breggin, 201 Ob), I have pointed to a probable causal relationship between increasing rates of antidepressant prescription and increasing rates of suicide in the military. This article reviews and evaluates the relevant scientific data.
THE VIDEO: PETER BREGGIN OPENING STATEMENT

The story on what antidepressants have wrought onAmerica is a heart breaking for me.

I'm one of many voices raising awareness on this issue but the media won't allow it. There's a very clear reason for this. Big drugs, The pharmaceutical industry pumps billions of dollars into the media and it's very quiet out there.

Our military are being given drugs with the knowledge that they are dangerous to take and dangerous to quit.

Dr. Peter Breggin, "There is a strong probability that the increasing suicide rates among active-duty soldiers are in part caused or exacerbated by the widespread prescription of antidepressant medication. By themselves, these drugs cause a dangerous stimulant-like profile of adverse reactions."
That and a gun is the scenario that John Roberts failed to mention in his report.
