Black Bishop: End 'Slavish Devotion' to Democratic Party

African-American Christians have traditionally aligned themselves with the Democrat party.

But these days, a growing number of black ministers are calling on their church communities to take a closer look at the issues and support the candidates that best reflect their values.

TONY DIGIROLAMO
BISHOP E W JACKSON IS SAYING WHAT MANY BLACK PASTORS ARE SAYING NATIONWIDE. THEY VOTED FOR BARACK OBAMA LAST ELECTION BUT CANNOT DO THAT THIS TIME.
There is lots of confusion about what to do here and some of them are saying they cannot vote for a Mormon.
I too never thought I would be able to vote for a Mormon myself but there is Scripture to give us clarity in the matter.
That Word is found in Mark 9:38-41 and verse 40 tells us Jesus said to his disciples, "If he is not against us then he is for us".
Governor Mitt Romney is far away from my understanding of the Word of God but I know this:
He is not against us!
He will not trample on the Constitution.
He will not trample on my rights as a Christian
He will not hide the things of God from the public square.
He will stand with Israel in friendship and support.
Obama has trampled on all of the above in Homosexual rights, same sex marriage and abortion in such a late stage all of us call it what it is... infanticide!
By not voting you show indifference to your commitment to life and His Commandments.
This election is vital to the life of this country one nation under God.
