FOX NEWS’ BRIT HUME DISCUSSES HIS CHRISTIAN FAITH & ‘SEEING THE FACE OF GOD’ AFTER HIS SON’S TRAGIC SUICIDE

Fox News’ Brit Hume is known for his pointed and robust political analysis. But in a recent interview with CBN News chief political correspondent David Brody, the well-known journalist and commentator also spoke candidly about his Christian faith and the pain surrounding his son’s 1998 suicide.

Hume told Brody that, throughout his adult life, he gave very little thought to God and his faith. But the untimely death of his son caused that to change radically. Looking back on the painful period in his life, the Fox News analyst said that he quickly realized that many of the events that happened could only be explained as being God-ordained. (Video)

THIS I KNOW, THAT BRIT HAS A BIBLE STUDY HE ATTENDS WITH THOSE YOU WOULD KNOW IF I MENTIONED THEIR NAMES. AND ONCE YOU'RE WALKING CLOSER TO GOD YOU BEGIN TO REALIZE THAT EVEN THE CHURCH YOU'RE ATTENDING IS OUT OF STEP WITH THE WORD OF GOD.
Brit said he's been an Episcopalian for years and notice he says "I'm a little disaffected by the church I belong to for so long and I'm kind of on the lookout for the right place to go but I'm thinking about it everyday and struggling with the things that we sinners struggle with ... Christianity is for sinners and thank God for me it is!
Brit has been struggling with the Episcopalian church that he's been attending for so long, because as he gets closer to God, as he reads His Word you begin to realize that the church is getting further away from God.
The mainline denominations are steeped into the cultural-social issues which is antithetical to Christianity. They blindly follow the winds of human behavior and fail to realize that God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
How does a Christian stand with a church that is ordaining homosexuals, give favor to same sex marriage and even a woman's right to choose.
Episcopalians are not the only ones. There's the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, (the denom I was saved in), the Presbyterian Church USA, and the Church of God in Christ, (the church Obama attended for 20 years).
The difference between Brit Hume and the President is, that Obama still seeks those churches antithetical to biblical truths and Brit is questioning and seeking the church where God's Truth is still the message.
Remember when Tiger Woods was going through his darkest hour? Brit Hume offered this counsel:
Brit offered Tiger the greatest counsel anyone could possibly give a man thrown from the pedestal of grace.
