Some might say job loss and financial trouble are enough to make any person go to church ... Despite the dwindling economy, church attendance in the U.S. has hardly been affected, with about 42 percent saying they attend some form of worship service weekly or almost weekly, the study found.
Job loss and financial trouble ... No increase in church, "church attendance in the U.S. has hardly been affected," perhaps then the bars, and psychologists are the ones seeing the increase at this time.
I believe that over the last forty years, entertainment, the media, and our representatives in the government have neglected the truths and Biblical understanding.
Not to leave out the preachers who have joined them in their twisted navigation of the Scripture. Passing over Paul's writing and giving new meaning to the things Jesus didn't say ... to justify immoral behavior.
Americans are searching for truth in the murky waters and the fog of a now secular-culture.
Allowing the Jay Leno's, and comic writings, and artists, that take my God, my savior, the Lord Jesus to be maligned, spat upon, the butt of jokes and twisted portrayals of the truth ... We've given them all license in our silence.
