Joel Osteen: Mitt Romney Is a 'Believer in Christ Like Me' Lakewood Megachurch Pastor Says Presidential Hopeful's 'Confession' of Christ Is 'Enough'

Joel Osteen, pastor of America's fastest growing megachurch, has reiterated his opinion that GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is a “believer in Christ like me” and that the former Massachusetts governor's confession of Jesus as the Son of God is “enough” for him.

VIDEO: Osteen, senior pastor of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, told CBS’ Charlie Rose Monday morning, “What I see about Gov. Romney is that he says ‘I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He’s raised from the dead and he’s my savior.’ I see him as being a believer in Christ like me.”

TONY DIGIROLAMO- ANYBODY BUT ROMNEY

ASK ALL THE EVANGELICALS WHO WERE IN TEXAS RECENTLY TO VOTE FOR ANYBODY BUT ROMNEY.

JOEL OSTEEN GIVEN THE CHOICE BETWEEN OBAMA AND ROMNEY, HE WOULDN'T COME OUT AND CHOOSE THE ONE WHO IS PRO LIFE.

Osteen is caaught up in the guagmire of the IRS 501c ruling ... but I believe he's just fine with that. Because you're never going to be told what kind of candidate you should vote for ... Not from his pulpit ... Oops he doesn't like to call it a pulpit, it's a podium.

The country is in deep trouble if this man is used as a model for other pastors ain America.
