Obama’s Former Faith Adviser: ‘I, Frankly, Am Glad American Civil Religion is Dying’

Shaun Casey, the religious affairs adviser to presidential candidate Barack Obama in 2008, said at a discussion on Tuesday about “God and Politics” that the demise of religious society in the United States is a good thing.

“I, frankly, am glad American civil religion is dying,” said Casey, who is an associate professor of Christian Ethics at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.

TONY DIGIROLAMO- THESE ARE THE KIND OF "FAITH", "RELIGIOUS", "ADVISERS" THAT THIS POTUS SURROUNDS HIMSELF WITH.

THE MAINLINE LIBERAL CHURCHES IS EXACTLY WHERE HE WANTS TO TAKE THE REST OF CHRISTIANITY.

That's why he's in the face of the Catholics who stand against ObamaCare and abortion pills and all of the policies he's jamming down our throats.

The agenda is much broader than any believer can imagine against Scripture and yet there are Pastors and Televangelists who follow him that cover their ears, eyes and mouths.

They come from mega churches and I believe they are blind guides by standing with a liar and a man leading the cause to a form of government that hates God and His Word.

Socialism and God cannot stand and we will need to make a decision in the fall to that end.

Which will it be?
