Important update on Chicago values: Non-inclusive Chick-fil-A out …

Allahpundit scoffed last night at Rahm Emanuel’s notion of “Chicago values,” which for most people will be forever declared by Sean Connery in The Untouchables:Video

The mayor insisted that Christians who believe in a biblical definition of marriage don’t fit into Emanuel’s vision for “Chicago values,” even though the owners of Chick-fil-A don’t discriminate in employment or service.  So what does fit into Emanuel’s idea of “Chicago values”?  Daniel Halper of the Weekly Standard found it in the pages of the Chicago Sun-Times — on the very day Emanuel pronounced Chick-fil-A not inclusive enough to be, er, included:

TONY DIGIROLAMO
CHICAGO VALUES, RAHM EMANUEL'S VALUES, PROGRESSIVE'S VALUES AND THESE ARE VALUES THAT ARE ANTITHETICAL TO DAN CATHY'S AND THOSE HOLDING TO JUDEO-CHRISTIAN VALUES.
Before all this same-sex marriage vitriol came to the discourse look at this.
This goes back to the Democrat Convention in 1992, Bill Clinton sneered and glared into the camera and said:
"Frankly, I'm fed up with politicians in Washington lecturing the rest of us about "family values." Our families have values. But our Government doesn't.

I want an America where "family values" live in our actions, not just in our speeches. An America that includes every family. Every traditional family and every extended family. Every two-parent family, every single-parent family, and every foster family. Every family."
Boy did he get all bent out of shape. He was getting a lot of heat on his support of homosexual rights at the time.
But we can see now where his values and the liberals were at the time and where he has taken the country after his win to the White House. Don't Ask Don't Tell, civil unions and now same sex marriage.
Chicago Values? What does that even mean?! The meaning is evolving and they ain't done yet.
Four more years of Obama and Democrats will be the end of civilization as we've known it.
That is not a stretch!
